BWI Map with Room locations?

I tried posting this on the BWI thread, but did not receive a reply.

I had found a map on another website for the YC that contained room numbers highlighted in different colors for the room categories (standard, water view, deluxe, etc.) and also showed which rooms had no balconies and would love to find a similar map for the BWI.

I am currently booked for standard view and would like to place a request, but am just not certain what to request. I would like to see something other than a parking lot, if possible, and would like a full covered balcony.

Does anyone know where this could be found?

I've owned DVC at BW for over 12 years and have never seen a map like that. I know they are available for other resorts, I think people found them and posted them. I don't think they were officially posted by Disney.

According to the PassPorter guidebook, all standard view rooms at BWI overlook courtyards or the entrance driveway (which it says is not so bad as trees shield the parking areas), and all rooms have a balcony or patio. The problem with trying to request a certain room number is that if that room isn't available, they're not going to know why you wanted it, and are therefore not going to know what a suitable substitute would be.

I agree, the standards face the front driveway and the inside courtyard. Your best bet is to request courtyard view. I only stayed at the Inn once and was right above the walkway to the bus stop. It was noisy, people walking by very late.

I agree, request courtyard, or maybe request to be away from the driveway. I requested courtyard facing Epcot near elevators (or something similar, it's been a while). Got a fantastic room. BWI has some great standard rooms on the courtyards.

Thanks everyone! I think I will do that - request courtyard. Are those near the lobby part or are they off in the wings? or maybe both.

I noticed that the areas closer to the lobby have 5 floors where the others are 4.

So, if I requested a higher floor facing the courtyard???

That's what a lot of people do to try to get a view of the Epcot fireworks. You could also just ask for a higher floor facing epcot.
