BWI Decoration Question

We will be checking in to the BWI on Jan. 2 and was wondering if anyone has any idea if the Christmas decorations will still be up. Samantha Brown got me so excited to see this that I sure hope everything is still up!

Historically they've been up at least through the first weekend of January at teh BWI. Have a great trip!

I, too, am hoping for at least Jan. 5 as a tear down date. Keep our fingers crossed.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all the resorts in the Boardwalk area so I sure hope they stay up!

Tiggersmyguy, we stayed in the BW Villa side during our Christmas/New Year's vacation a few years ago. We had a boardwalk view and thus our balcony had Disney-supplied decorations on its exterior (garlands, ornaments, etc.). If I remember correctly, within a day or two of the very beginning of January (the 2nd? the 3rd? the 4th?), a forklift-type of vehicle showed up to remove the decorations from our balcony. It was a little unnerving for me when I opened the drapes one morning and saw a guy staring back at me. Yikes!

So, that is my experience. I hope the decorations stay up long enough for you to see them during your trip. But regardless of them being up or not, I hope you have a ~magical~ vacation.
