BW valet question

I will be staying at BWV for Mother's Day with my 78 yr. old mom. I have never used the valet service before, but since she can't walk great distances, I will probably use them this time. I know we get free valet parking, but do you tip? when you drop it off or when you pick it up? and how much do you usually tip?

I am excited. This was a spur-of-the-moment trip planned just Thursday. I was amazed they could get me in a studio. This will be my first time at the Flower & Garden show too. Looking forward to a great trip.

When we use valet at the BW, I tip $2-$3 on the return of our car. It is worth it on a hot day or if it is raining.

I'd give a tip only upon pickup. Usually $3-5 depending on how far they go to get the car and what kind of service they provide us. Like helping Mom into the car would be nice.......

If service is prompt, I tip $2 each way, I figure each deserves a tip.

When you are ready to leave your room, call the valet desk and ask them to pull the car around, it will be waiting when you get there or just a short wait.

I'm another one that gives $2.00 both for drop off and pick up. I take along a supply of $2 bills just for tipping.

In also tip in both directions, although I believe etiquette dictates that it is only necessary upon pick-up.
