I'm staying in Anaheim for two nights in Oct. I have two reservations, and not sure which one to keep since I have not stayed at either: BW Stovall's ($216.26 total) and HoJo ($244.53 total). We will be at the parks pretty much all day, open to close, so we are only utilizing the rooms to sleep. How's the location of both? I know there are closer hotels out there, but these both seem in ok walking distance. With BW's parking fee, the difference in cost is negligible. Help me decide! :earsboy:

Haven't stayed at that BW, but I would pick Hojo. I'm a big fan of that property. Interior corridors, free parking, clean rooms. No breakfast, but that's not a big deal to our family. The walk is quick and easy.

With the cost not being a factor since you have the parking fee at BW, I'd stay at Hojo's. I haven't stayed at Stovalls yet but I will be in a few months because theres a significant cost savings for my trip. But aside from that we're big Hojo's fans in our family. Its a shorter walk than Stovalls, the beds are amazing, there are keurig coffee makers in the rooms and its a hotel with interior corridors which I prefer over the motel style that has the rooms that open to the parking lot. Oh and speaking of parking lot we've always found it very easy to get a parking spot at Hojo's too.

This is a tough one! Hojo's is known for having great customer service. Plus, they have free parking. BW Stovall's will charge you $10/day for parking. BUT BW Stovall's includes free breakfast.

We stayed at Stovalls and I enjoyed it. My one complaint was that we were on the second floor, which did have an elevator, but then we were actually up another short flight of stairs that had no elevator. There were only about 8 rooms like that, but with two strollers, it got very very tiring :)

Personally I don't find the walk to Stovall's to be that bad because it goes through Downtown Disney. The time we stayed across the street the other way, I felt like the walk was longer, simply because it was a more crowded and boring walk. I like walking through DTD so that we can do a little more shopping, pick up a snack, etc.

I have stayed at both within the last 6 months. The walk from either isn't bad. Stovall's is a little longer, but feels shorter than it is because you are walking through Disney property. My preference though, hands down, was HOJO. Stovall's is a nice basic hotel and if it's just adults going and you won't be spending any time there except to sleep, it's fine. The beds were a little hard, but there's free breakfast. However, HOJO has the best beds I've ever slept in at a hotel, a fun water park area if it's hot, much prettier grounds, and free parking. It's also lighter and brighter. Stovall's felt a bit like a cave.

Thanks all for the feedback. Looks like we're going with HoJo!
