BW pool

We never had to wear wristbands at the BW pool - only at SAB over at the YC & BC.

We stayed at BWI last August, and we didn't have to wear any wrist bands at the pool.

We've never worn wristbands either at BWI's Luna Park Pool.

No wristbands needed, but if the pool gets crowded, the lifeguards will go around and check room keys.

 odd question to ask unless you have an adversion to wearing wristbands?

Probably not the question to ask here, as any form of pool-hopping is against the rules unless you are a DVC owner. The slide isn't that great, IMO, and usually people try to sneak into the BC pool, not out of it. :lmao:

Point taken! We will be good and swim only at BC! It does seem a little goofy to swim elsewhere!!!!

Last time I was at BWI, no need for wristbands.

I have an aversion to wearing them and can totally understand it. I don't mind them so much in general, but Disney puts them on a little too tight for my taste...it is like a wrist claustrophobia. Hard to explain if they don't bother you. :)

I dislike them especially when swimming. Not bad if put on the suit, but if they are on your wrist, they create resistance as you move your arm through the water.

i agree 100%, for me it's that they interfere with watch on one hand & braclets on the other. do think if loose they could easily catch on something & cause a problem though. BC wouldn't allow us to put them on our suits last Oct.:rolleyes1

I guess I'm in the minority, but I HAVE been wristbanded at BW. In fact, each and every person in our family had to show our room keys. This was during Christmas season, 2006.

Wow...I've never heard of anyone getting a wristband at BW's pool before. I've been there over Thanksgiving and it was a zoo, yet no one had to have a wristband. So far, the only resort I have had to have a wristband at was BC and Storm-a-long Bay.
I have seen the lifeguards ask to see guests room keys at Luna Park though...it was very hot, and the pool was really crowded.
