CALLING ALL EXPERTS! We are looking at staying 2/22-2/26. We can't decide between BWPPI and the Fairfield, which would you choose and why? Both are in the same price range, Fairfield possibly a hair cheaper.
Also, do you think hotel prices may come down as we get closer to Feb?
TIA!

BWPPI, I always stay there for the convenience of it. You walk out the door and you are at the crosswalk for Disney! Has microwave and fridge. Pool and is fine. Nothing fancy. No frills but good for what you are there for. Disneyland! I'll be there this Tuesday until Saturday.

I've never stayed at the Fairfield but I would probably go with BWPPI for location. It's not my first choice of motel but it was nice when we stayed there. :)

Fairfield! The walk is only 7 minutes long, and has a pizza hut on the third floor and a mcdonalds in the parking lot. It has disney views, a nice comfy rooms. Ive stayed there for two weeks last summer and 5 days last november and it was awesome. I am staying there as well 2 weeks come June. :)

I'd say BWPPI. It's closer and they have a decent continental breakfast as part of your stay there.

I always stay at Fairfield. Very convenient location(for both DL and restaurants), hotel pizza hut which also is a bit of a snack bar (very convenient for a quick breakfast, etc), pool, excellent service, clean, cheaper, etc. Good view from the upper floors.

I also love the giant mickey at Fairfield, right below the balcony:

Having stayed at both, I chose BWPPI no question. At the end of the day that extra distance to Fairfield with 3 tired kids feels sooo much longer!

However I've found 4th night free at Fairfield for this Jan thru Jun. So if I was staying 4 nights that would make Fairfield a far better deal than BWPPI and l'd go back to Fairfield.

Stayed at Fairfield a little over two weeks ago and BWPPI roughly 10-11 months ago. The kids like the Fairfield's pool better, I liked BWPPI's jacuzzi better. I felt the Fairfield's rooms and service was better but BWPPI's rooms were larger. Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with either option - no complaints about either from me.
