Other than the member discount that's seemingly never available, who have you used to get the best cash rate for BW?

Or is the only rate available the one Disney quotes?

Thanks!

AP rates are occasionally available for BWV. It is more common to find them for studios than for the larger units.

There may also be AAA rates - but I am not a member so I do not know if anyone has actually gottne those for BWV.

I have occasionally seen "packages rates" available as well, but the packages contain other components so it is hard to say exactly what you are really paying for the room.

The least expensive cash rates are usually obtained by renting a member's points, but there is some additional risk for going that route.

Best wishes -

If you are going to use AP rates, you have to grab them as soon as the new rates come out. If you are checking now for August-September, it's very hard to get AP rates at BW or BC, although the other DVC resorts still have some.

AP rates are the cheapest rates out there, I think. You only need one AP in order to get those rates, too, but you need to go to WDW about 8 times in a year for it to be cheaper, if you aren't counting the discounts at hotels, food, stores, and activities. I have an AP and got over $100 off per night for Friday and Saturday nights, got minigolf for 1/2 price, and got 10% off at Basin and Olivia's. These are places we normally go on our vacation, so it was a good deal for us--the more you use the pass, the better the deal.

I am an AAA member, and they get a smaller discount than AP, plus their discounts are harder to get than the ones from MS!
