BW Health Club

I had asked before our trip as to the health club and wanted to let everyone know how pleasantly surprised I was at the amount of equipment at Muscles & Bustles. There was everything that I use at home plus some. I have been really working on my weight and was afraid it would all start coming back while on vacation but I could have an ice cream and work it off in the morning before staring the day and not feel guilty.

My DS, who goes to the gym at home and is picky about health clubs, loves the health club at BWV! He says it is even better than the one he belongs to at home and that is saying something because he is not easy to please!!

I agree with the above. My son and I used BW Health Club everyday while on vacation. However, the health club at the BCV is even nicer. Enjoy your workouts & vacation!!

BCV's health club is already open? Is this a seperate health club that was built for the villas? Thanks for any info!

My understanding is that BCV folks will have use of the BC healthclub. This is one of the ways adding DVC on to a current resort helps keep dues down, by sharing resources. The same approach was used with the BC store.

Anyone have a different understanding?

well I sure hope they do some expanding, because the BC health club is small!!

My comment above pertains to the health club at the BC hotel. I believe it is set up similar to the BWV--meaning the BWV use the same health club as the Broadwalk Inn. I looked it over last year and as I recall I thought it was bigger with more amenties i.e. whirlpool. I think it also had a steam room; however I am not certain. My son & I thought it would be a nice change to use it this year. However, both seem very clean. When I was walking around the property last year I spoke to a CM at the BC health club and he did not indicate there would be seperate Health Club--although he may not have known. Also, I did not think to ask him. He was very nice and said we could use the facilty. Unfortunately, we did not have the time. I am planning to stay this year at he BCV and I will let everyone know what I think when I return. It is a plus to have a decent place to workout. Enjoy your workouts!!

If we can pool hop can we gym hop?

As far as I know there is not an 'official' policy allowing gym hopping, however I have been pool hopping to Luna several times when I let the DW and DK's swim and I used the gym. Each time we were staying on points with 'MEMBER' on our cards. I was never questioned, nor did I ask if OK. I just gave my card to the CM and he let me at it.
