I have just secured our first Grand Villa visit for the first week in December. Ya Hoo.

Since the whole family will be coming down, any suggestions on which room would be best.

I have never even visited a grand villa so I don't really know where there are or how many BW has.

Suggestions and previous experiences would be helpful.

thanks

I think there are 6 grand villas and BW and my understanding is that you can't go wrong with any of them. All have great views.

There are actually seven and I believe all have the coveted Boardwalk view! I think I've read here before that at least one is designated as a smoking unit. Most of them are centered over the brewery, if I remember correctly.

Ask for your smoking preference and if important, near (or not) to the elevators. You will be happy no matter which unit you receive - they all have a view of the Boardwalk!

thanks for the quick responses. I had really lousy "preferred" view this past year.

The BACK of the slide and the covered areas where they are painting. Lovely. I was not happy. At least if I couldlve seen the pool, it would've been better than sticks of wood support.

Already excited and have so many days to wait!

We stayed in a BW GV in October 2001. Ours was a 2 story unit located where the big white pillars are. We loved it. Every night we would head out to the balcony and watch the fireworks and the BW performers. I believe quite a few of the GV are in this building. There was definitely one next to us and I believe their was a 1 story below us.

You will love it!
