Today we got up early and headed for the AK. We didn't have to wait long for a bus. We headed straight for the safari which had a 5-10 minute wait. We all really like this ride. The boys loved trying to find all of the different animals. Our driver was very good at trying to locate all the animals for us. We got to see two wildebeest babies right by the jeep. One was only 5 days old!
After the safari, we headed to ITTBAB. I had never done this before and really liked it. Next we walked through Asia and saw the huge bats & tigers. One of the tigers was right up at the window showing off his huge teeth and tongue. The kids loved this.
It was cool on Wed. so we skipped the Kali raft ride. We weren't interested in being wet and cold the rest of the day. We walked over to the Dig area and let the kids run around. This was great because it wasn't very crowded so we didn't "lose" them on the slides. The first Tarzan show was starting so we went and watched that. The other stuff we had visited on our last trip so we decided to head back to the hotel for lunch.
We got off at the YC stop and ate lunch at the Galley. We are really going to miss this restaurant. We had good onion soup and cheese bread. My DD loved their triple decker PBJ. After lunch, the boys took a nap. My DD and I went downstairs to check out the BW stores. We walked into the Wayland Gallery to look at all the great artwork. A really super salesperson was working who showed my dd a great trick. There is a sculpture of 3 dolphins that as you walk around it more dolphins become visible. It was very cool and my dd showed everyone else the "trick" later.
When we went back up to our room, we decided to try and ride the RRC again. My sister, dh, dd, and I managed to walk to MGM, ride the RRC, walk back thru the MGM stores buying a shirt and 2 mickey usa pins, and walk back to BW in a little over an hour!
When everyone woke up, my parents, sister, and brother-in-law headed to EPCOT for a dinner at the Rose & Crown. We decided to let them have a dinner in peace without our kids. We fed the kids stuff from the room and we got a calzone & meatball sub from the window on the bw. For everyone keeping count that makes 3 parks in one day for my sister. (Too bad the MK closes so early)
Tomorrow: My sister & brother-in-law leave, SAB, & MNSSHP
