BW Club or YC Standard - AKL Relocation

I spoke to a CM to this morning regarding my relocation and Disney has now offered to move me to BW Club level or YC standard room. I have a club level reservation at AKL and do not want to give up those services. No monorail resorts are available. Is the BW Club Level comparable to AKL Club Level?

Never been to either resort but the BWI Club level is my FIRST CHOICE. Besides, you have the monorail at Epcot just right there. . .

I may be confused but you don't have the monorail to ECPOT from the BW. You just walk to EPCOT, short walk.

May ask your dates, we are staying at AKL, standard view, no savana and I called a couple of times and was told we would not have to move?

I know they've only offered you club level at the BC, but in my opinion, neither the BC or YC club level is comporable. The lounges are tiny and offer views of the parking lot. I would consider BWI, but otherwise, the Poly and even the Atrium Club at the CR are more in line with what's offered at the AKL.

I'd take BWI over YC std. Their concierge staff are the best on property.

dadog: I'm sorry to hear that you got the dreaded call. I am surprised that they've started moving the CL guests, from what I've been reading here the CL people have all been reassured that it's just the standard room guests being moved. Do you have the Sunrise Safari booked?
On the brighter side, the Epcot resorts look great too. Have a wonderful trip where ever you end up!

Would you have access to the YC's concierge even though you will have a standard room? In that case, I would pick the YC because of the pool area. If you don't retain your Concierge access, I would go with Boardwalk's Club level. It's a very nice resort.

BWI Club level vote here-the staff is AWESOME!! They will make your stay wonderful!! The resort itself is great too! Good luck whatever you decide!

The BWI CL is very different than the AKL club level, IMHO the CLB part is better at the AKL, but the location of the BWI can't be beat.

Um, the monorail is a mile walk from the BWI.
