BVS vs. Hawthorne suites?

We have reservations at Buena Vista Suites for 04/07 however I do not know where this hotel is located. I just noted that Orlando Vacations website has Hawthorne Suites listed for the same price I got for BVS and I know where Hawthorn is..stayed acroos the street 2 years ago. We love the location right outside of DTD. Any info on either place would be extremely helpful.Thanks

I have stayed Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue off International Drive last Summer. The place was clean and had free hot breakfast which was excellent. the drive w easy to WDW.

The one bedroom suites had 2 TVS. The suite had nice fridge, microwave and stove in the kitchen. The pool area was clean. The hotel had plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed at the Hawthorn Lake Buena Vista 2 years ago and we loved it. Great location like you say. The rooms were well equipped and they were the largest suite rooms we've stayed in. The breakfast was ok - a bit repetitive (muffins, bagels, powdered eggs, sausages, tater tots etc.) but there was lots of it and it was free! There was also a managers reception in the afternoon with hotdogs, natchos, beer, fizzy drinks etc. which was also free!
The pool was small but ok for occasional use and there was a small basketball court and a nice hot tub.
Also there was a shuttle running to all the Disney parks - it seemed ok (although we didn't use it) but we did here it was slightly late on occasion.
All in all we thought Hawthorn suites was fab - almost stayed there this time but got slightly better deal at Palomino suites across the road.
Never stayed at BVS although not too keen on location at busy intersection!
