If given a choice which rooms would you ask for in the Villa's? I need convenience, (walking is hard) and prefer quiet to lively. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!! :thanks:

Then that's exactly what you ask for.

Request a quiet location. If you want close to the elevator, Beach Club lobby, bus stop, ask for that.

Don't request any room number. You are virtually guaranteed not to get it. The room you want would have to be checked-out of the day you check in. Not a likely scenario. Then the room assignor would have no idea what to give you. If you ask for general locations (like quiet area and close to elevators), you give them many more rooms to work with.

In any case, the BCVs are not that big. Even the farthest room, while farther than others, is not a major trek.

Thanks! I did mean general area not specific room! I am totally unfamilair with BCV!

Take a look at DisZip's web page it's got great floor plans and views from different rooms. Being near the elevator might be important to you. One thing to note, the self parking lot is right off the end of the building (near room#178) so if you do drive, it can be conveinent. If you want to be close to the buses then rooms near 102 are closest. BCV doesn't have the best of views. There are pool view, epcot/road view, courtyard view, woods/BC view.

The courtyard view might work for you. When I got off the elevators, my room was off toward the left, the short hallway. It was very quiet( being a short hallway there wasn't much foot traffic), yet it was close to the elevators. I was in the main corridor once, and near the elevators there was a lot of foot traffic. The courtyard view was great for closeness, yet quiet.

That's a great site! The courtyard view seems to be only a studio is that right? Simba's Mom recommended that. I know it's crazy because you have to walk for MILES in the parks but usually I limp home due due to a knee injury and every foot (no pun intended) I can avoid is good news!

I would tell them you want quiet and close to the elevator because of walking issues.

As an aside, did you ever consider renting a scooter> Not one of the Disney ones at the park, but form an Orlando area medical equipment supply company? I have seen people with scooters with 1-800-scooter on the back, and my understanding is that they will deliver the scooter to your resort for when you check in, and you will have the use of it for your entire stay, for hotels etc.

I have often said that if mobility became an issue, I'd do this.
