Hi teammates.... I will calcuate my numbers later. .just wanted to post a Hello to everyone... been home sick and on the couch for 2 days.. and probably 3 .. for I don't really see myself heading into the office tomorrow either... so.. My numbers won't be so high this week... but.. i do have some! ;)

Everyone keep your eye out for Michelle and give her a big Buzz's Welcome! Hopefully she will peek her head in to say hi! :)

Happy Me Day to all of you ! :) Look at that.. you all have your very own personal Valentine on your team!

Kathy

Oops. Forgot to post yesterday. I hope that everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

5.5 hours
14.88 Miles.

HAHD!

First off... :welcome: Michelle. Glad to have you aboard.

Okay, here are my dismal numbers for this past week. Miles 8.97 and time 1 hour 38 minutes.

Sorry everyone. It was a hard week. My girls were sick and then we kind of passed it around the family  , so I ended up with it as well. We also had lots of rain which kept me from getting out, too. (I need to get some more tapes for those days.) Most of that time was from yesterday. Yikes!!!!

I'm feeling better, so I know this week will be better. In fact, I'm heading out for a walk when I'm done here.

I am thrilled that I was feeling better this week and actually got some miles in.
Sat -- 2 hours -- 13.7 miles (4.35 TM; 9.35 bike)
Sun -- 70 minutes -- 0 miles -- 2 Leslie Sansone workouts
Weds -- 50 minutes -- 9.1 miles (bike)
Thurs -- 41 minutes -- 3 miles (TM)

My totals for the week -- 4 hours 41 minutes -- 25.8 miles

Weekly totals:

28.16 miles
4 hours 52 minutes

That's all running. Still no cross training:sad2:
I really do think next week might improve at work (but I thought that this week and still worked 'til almost midnight 3 of the nights:confused3 )

There is a health alert all over the news today. You must stop wearing running shoes now, don't wait, they have been proven to cause cancer in lab rats.:scared1:

The scientists and Doctors are suggesting you burn your running shoes and only exercise in Jammies with feet.:teacher:

Forgot to post yesterday, I was busy running around in my jammies with feet. Thanks for the warning Panda.

Totals:
26 miles running = 4hr 20 min
X Train = 1 hr 30 min

Jeeze, what a sloth! It took me a week to run what it took me less than 5 hours just a short month ago :)

Let's go team!
Duane
PS Don't listen to "Helpful Panda"

Okay.. I have pulled myself out from under my covers... It actually doesnt hurt anymore when I type.. that is how much my body was aching!! So...
I didn't have any mileage or minutes for the latter part of the week... But, I did get in some time over the previous weekend... so.. my paltry contribution this week is:

8 miles.....and and 5 hours 23 minutes

that's all she wrote!

Okay.. back to couch.... ugh....
can someone else shake to pom poms for a little while... :(

Kathy

Sure Kathy!! Go Buzz's Brigade!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

But, where's Chris? :confused3

Oh, and WELCOME Michelle!

Hey everyone. I'm still ticking. :thumbsup2

My family and work have been keeping me pretty busy, but I believe I have everyone updated in the spreadsheet. I do still need Wendy's numbers for the week so I will send out a total once I get her numbers. I also haven't seen our new Teammate Michelle so I will need her numbers or if she is starting this week that's fine too.

As for my running I got in 3 good runs. 2 at 6 miles and a 10 miler. No cross training this week for me, but I really need to.

We sure are a quiet group though. Must be too busy burning up those miles! :grouphug:

Thank you cheerleaders!!! YAY!!! I woke up this morning feeling sooooo much better!!

Thank you Chris our spreadsheet guy!! YAY!!!!! I can't thank you enough for stepping up!! YOu are the BEST!!!

So.. I am off to a rehearsal.. yes... a director's work is never done... and I am soooo excited because today marks one work week till I get to see CAM and JUDY and Howard!!! YAY!!! Going to the chapel.. La La La La La...

So.. I am going to get some dancing hours in today.. "Easy Street" is the dance of the day.. and these actors are my "high maintenance" crew.. they need Extra attention and love... It always amazes me how the most talented of my cast are always the most insecure.. Odd.... Okay.. so... off to the dance mines! :)

Have a GREAT Sunday everyone!! (can you tell I feel better!) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Looks like it might be a quiet week for me. Did 10 miles Saturday, but the right ankle started hurting fairly early in the run. Made it to about 8 before I called it quits and told DH I had to walk it in. It was DH's first run with our group, so he was torn between finishing at a good pace or being a good hubby and staying with me. He was a good hubby! I've kept it wrapped since and figure I won't run at all this week, then wait and see how it feels before I decide about next Saturday. We have a half coming up in 3 weeks, so if I have to stay off of it until then I'm willing to do that! What scares me is that it felt very much like the left one did the day I got the stress fracture, but the pain didn't get as bad (hopefully because I quit in time!)

I may give the bike a try; if not, I'll at least get a FEW minutes in with the weights!

Jackie

Chris - Glad to see your ok! Thanks for being our spreadsheet dude! :thumbsup2

Kathy
- Glad you are feeling better!

Jackie - Take it easy! Hope you didn't do anything serious to your ankle. Keep us posted. I'll try and take up some of the slack. DH and I took the dogs for a walk tonight, so that was added miles and minutes that I hadn't counted on this week.

Come on Buzz's Brigade!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Sorry to be so late with this week's numbers -- they were hardly worth the wait, but I've been out of town since Friday. I only managed 2 walks this week -- 4 miles on the TM (1 hour) and a 1-mile fun run with my son (1 mile, which counts double, which took us more than an hour but we'll call 30 minutes [doubled is an hour] -- the long story is in the link that follows). So that's 6 miles and 2 hours.

Here's my race report:
http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=23271367&postcount=15

Excuses, excuses. I've been working a lot lately -- and I've also started several walks that were interrupted by family emergencies of one sort or another. The long hours at work won't go away anytime soon, but I will endeavor to fit in some walks somehow -- I'm sorry to have performed so miserably this week, team. I know I let you down.

Hi Team!

Wendy and everyone else - do NOT feel like you are letting the team down when you have a "bad" week. Remember we are in this as a team, for all the right reasons. I imagine over the course of the next ten months or so there are going to be times when a team member is sick or experiencing LTO. Let's face it - stuff happens. But, we are in this for the long haul, and we are a TEAM, ready and willing to encourage and support each other. I am never going to put up big numbers (unless maybe I pull out my old style bike and that probably won't do it either!!), but I am putting in my steps AND doing a little bit of XT. I'm doing a little more than I normally would at this time of year, and that is a good thing. So.....

to Infinity and Beyond!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :goodvibes :goodvibes

I'm fine, Sandy! All those tornadoes (just looked it up on the web) were quite a bit South of me. Actually it hit where my bosses daughter is working, so I need to check in with her and make sure she is safe. Thanks for coming in and checking on me.
