Are these characters often seen around the park? my 3 year old son adores both and seems to think he will automatically see Buzz when we go in November...don't want to shatter his hopes.

They appear at the new Woody's Roundup Meet and Greet in Frontierland, where the old Critter Coral was (well Woody certainly does but I'm not sure about Buzz). Check the signs at Woody's Roundup for the times etc or check at City Hall and they will be able to tell you when and where to meet them.

You used to be able to see them at Pizza Planet before Woody's Roundup was built though.

Woody has his own area - Woodys roundup - at the back of Frontierland. He and Jessie do regular character meet n greets there.

Woody and Buzz are often on the Character express as well, and the characters come off to do meet n greets around the front of the castle area. I have seen Buzz there, but have not managed to get a photo or autograph, as he gets mobbed. You might get lucky though .

"Buzz" also talks to you as you go through the queuing area of the Buzz Lightyear lazer blast ride. He is lifesize, and has a holographic face, so he does look real.

I think the only place we've seen Buzz in DLP was in the Studios, though if he was to be found anywhere in the Disneyland park it would be Discoveryland. Woody can be found in Woody's round-up in Fronteirland (ask a CM what time he'll be there, the character CMs have a schedule with them).

Make sure if Woody's roundup is quiet you go in and look anyway. When we went we almost turned round and walked back out, it was so empty we thought it was actually closed, but decided to have a look anyway and Woody was hiding in there with nothing to do and no one near him, so the kids spent ages with him and got to sit on Bullseye and we got loads of great pics.

we got to meet Woody and Jessie at the round up in June and they were fab, at 2 my dd is a huge Toy Story fan and she just loved Woody ... she was a bit unsure about Jessie but Woody got a big hug Right next door to the Round up was a little wooden house where Cowboy Goofy was in one room and Cowgirl Mickey and we probably saw all 4 characters in less than 30 mins as it was rather quiet. Never seen Buzz apart from on the parade. Your little fella is going to love it !

We've seen Buzz, Woody and Jessie all on the Character train.
Buzz heads towards Discoveryland but surprisingly Woody and Jessie headed towards castle stage

Hi we were lucky enough to see buzz on our last visit in March late one night as we were leaving the park, he was stood by entrance to the arcade we had been told that he didn't do character meet and greet so were quite surprised to see him. Only problem was my son was so tired so I was more exicited than he was.

we met buzz last year outside the lazer blast in discoveryland, i should have a pic somewhere and we seen him again around the a couple of times after that too

but at Christmas when Santa is at that area do Woody and Co still do appearances here as well??

My little boy loves Santa but Woody is his hero and would mean sooooo much more to him

Last year they shared that area.

Santa had his workshop and grotto to the left side of Woodys roundup, and Woody and Jessie hung around on the right hand side - there are 2 gates there, and they were just inside the right side gate.
