Buzz Lightyear's cat Sox in Disney's Lightyear

I noticed that in the preview of Disney's Lightyear that Buzz has a cat named Sox and from what I saw of Sox he is a robotic cat and I noticed that Sox seems to be one of the top characters in Lightyear. My mother who LOVES cats fell in love with Sox and thought he was funny. Also which celebrity voices Sox? Because Dad thought his voice sounded like David Hyde Pierce from Frasier

Sox is voiced by Peter Sohn, an anaimator at Pixar. He has done several of the side characters for their movies, most notably Emile in Ratatouille. Sox is indeed cute!

Thank you for the nice info on Sox Brian. When my mother first saw Sox in the Lightyear previews she liked him because he talked and as I mentioned in my opening post my mom adores cats a lot and she loves anything with cats. I also showed Mom a Sox plushie that actually talks and moves and she loved it too. I think I do plan to get my mother anything with Sox because she liked Sox right away
