Could be worth fitting into your plans if you are over there at the begining of October.
In May 2008 Buzz Lightyear joined the crew of Space Shuttle Discovery to the International Space Station. It has been announced that he will be returning to earth with the next shuttle mission.
An International Space Station spokesman revealed Buzz is...well, last time I talked to Buzz, he was doing just fine, Buzz is doing just fine. Honestly, Buzz has spent a lot of time stowed. We don't bring him out and play with him he's been safely stowed away and we intend to return him home this flight."
Buzz Lightyear is the longest serving astronaut in space and will be treated to a special home coming ticker tape parade when he returns. The parade has been arranged for October 2nd at Disneys Magic Kingdom. Fellow astronauts from the Space Station will also be honoured along with Buzz Aldren who will be there for a special book signing.
