Buying wine at the Fort

If at all possible, bring it with you or go off property and get it. You will most likely have to donate a kidney to pay for it! (just kidding):lmao:

They oughta move this thread to the how to save on gas lol. A 6 pack is about $11 with tax.

Got any prices for a bottle of wine? And what kind of wine they have?

they get the people from the disboard to stamp the grapes right in front of you

They sell wine, beer, and liquor at both trading posts. Yes, the prices are high, and it's cheaper to bring your own, but what vacation spot isn't...lol.

Be prepared to pay probably about a 50% markup (depending on your local prices). Trust me, there has been plenty a time when we've run out and decided to make a "golf cart run" to re-stock. Unfortunately in life you have to pay for convenience...lol

No you're not! It's very expensive there. One Grolsch costs more than a 6-pack -- but they don't sell Grolsch any more because they couldn't keep enough cash on hand to make change.

In case of an emergency, stop by the Kiwi for a Kungaloosh. Also a variety of beers on ice.

I don't know if you can purchase it at the Fort but the only wine worthy of purchasing anywhere on Disney property is the sparkling wine "Fairy Tale Cuvee" which is made especially for Disney and can only be purchased on Disney property and Disney Cruise Line. On the cruise it was $46 a bottle but I don't know what they sell it for at WDW.

You are just trying to make them feel better, they do take donations!:lmao:

Sorry, forgot the quote, that was for Al.

Actually, they sell some really great alcohol in Epcot. I'm not a big wine drinker, but there is a wine they sell in Germany called "Two Princes" that Beth got me hooked on, if I'm going to drink wine I want to drink that one, it's great.

Any of the "stores" at the resorts are going to be limited in their selection (although they all tend to have a decent liquor collection, and the Fort sells cigars as well), sometimes it's fun just to pick something up at Epcot and try it out back at your campsite. It's like international dining under the trees of Florida...lol

Chris is right. The wine store in France has a great selection and is actually not too bad in price.

Jen, do they make a war eagle beer?
