Any place at Wilderness Lodge where I can buy a gallon of water? If not - any place that will deliver a case? Thanks.

IIRC, there's a shop that carries quite a few food items located just off the walkway leading from the WL to the WLVillas. As an alternative, we have used www.gardengrocer.com for food delivery and were pleased with their service.

We just planned a quick trip over New Year's and are dealing with the same decision....do we buy water at the resort store, pay for a grocery stop on the way to the resort, or purchase through gardengrocer. I'm trying to weigh out which would be more cost-effective.

IMO the best alternative is to get a large cup of water at a quick service counter every chance you get because it's free and you don't have to worry about attractions that don't let in food/beverages.
Pair that with a nalgene water bottle (made of lexan... it's guranteed to not break, meaning if you manage it you send them the pieces and they send you a new one) and you've got bottomless water on the cheap

If you want water while you're at WL, I think it's free from roaring forks soft drink dispensers even without buying the mug...

We have used Garden Grocer when staying at Saratoga Springs but they do charge a $12 delivery fee for any orders under $200. It's not bad for us when we order a weeks worth of breakfast, snacks and drinks. I have heard of others who order from Staples and have it shipped to their hotel but I think you need to spend $50 to get Staples to deliver free. Others have ordered printer ink to take home with them to push the order over $50 and get the free delivery.

You can also order cases of bottled water through Costco's website w/free shipping. The price is very reasonable. Also, if you aren't a member you can still order but there will be a 5% surcharge added to the total.

I ordered from Costco for our trip this past June and it was great. I paid about $7.50 for the case of water and it was delivered in about 3-4 days time.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the suggestions. We prefer bottled for drinking and coffee because the fountain & faucet water tastes funky to us. I didn't realize I could order from Costco w/out being a member. Thanks for the tip!

A few days before a trip, we order two cases of bottled water from staples.com and have it delivered to our resort. Two cases cost $21.00 with S&H included. :upsidedow
