Buying TIW

I'm going on Oct 30. I bought a FL Resident Seasonal Pass, but I only have the voucher and will be getting the actual pass when I get there. I want to buy TIW, and I know you can at Guest Services at the parks and DTD. The online application says they take a few weeks to process your request. So if I buy TIW at Guest Services, will I get my card right then? I want to be able go get my pass and TIW on the 30th and then use it for dinner that night.

The reason I'm not buying TIW right now is because I would have to pay $100 for it. But if I wait til I get my Pass it's only $75!

Last time I had one, I bought it at DD. They gave me the card right there.

When we went in August I had vouchers for our AP's. We activated them and bought the TIW card at the same time. Got everything right then.
