Buying tickets

So i am trying to purchase tickets on Disneyland website.. however i have to confirm my purchase before assigning a name to the ticket.. if i do this will the ticket just be put in my name? I need it under my husbands name?
when do you assign a name to a ticket?

trying to chat with a cast member online but it must be a busy time for them !!!

The individual tickets aren't designated in a particular name, like an airline ticket. When you take your tickets to the gate, they will take each person's picture and assign the ticket to that person.

I have read about many people having issues with the DL website, trying to buy their tickets.

You can buy them for $5-20 off from a second party authorized seller website. Some trusted and often-used ones are Ares.com, LastMinuteTravel, and way.com.

We always use Ares for our tickets. They save us a few dollars and we've never had any issues with them. Have a great trip!

I do not have to enter a name and that's what was confusing me !! I thought I would have to assign a ticket right away

Oh I see! It's not like WDW where you assign tickets!

guess its just different than buying them at the gates !! decided to buy online this time so we can use a magic morning !!

If you buy them at a Good Neighbor hotel's "Disney Desk" they still qualify for the Magic Morning, since that's considered buying them before arrival. The Disney CM did ask for our names, which were printed directly on each ticket. They weren't vouchers, but the actual tickets used for entry/reentry and to pull FastPass.
