If I buy my tickets through undercover as they are cheaper and staying on site. How do I still get the extra magic hours..when they close the park for regular people how do they know you staying at a resort.
1. Generally, yes.
2. EMH use is not related to what kind of ticket that you have.
3. They will scan your MagicBand at the entrance to each attraction and see
if you are a WDW resort guest.
Nope. No questions asked. The hotel doesn't care if you have park tickets or not. You enter the UT ticket number in MDE, and that shows up on your KTTW or your Magic Bands. FP+ and park admittance use KTTW or MB. I did this in July with no issues.
Also can I put my in laws in so they can stay and get into the extra magic hours if they are not staying on site how do I do that..they stay in florida all winter and will be joining us most days. Just park at our hotel and ride the bus.
My Disney experience. You sign up for an account on Walt Disney World site. This is where your hotel reservations will show up, your advanced Dining reservations (ADR) and where you can take the ticket number off the back of your UT ticket and enter it in. If staying onsite you can also customize magic bands. Once ticket is linked into this account at 60 days you can make your fast pass selections for your park of choice for that day.
Guests do not have to have MagicBands to partake of EMH, but they do need to be listed as staying
at a WDW resort.
You can add them as part of your party in your resort if they will not make the number of guests
staying in your room(s) over the maximum limit. (It will cost you the additional price of 2 more adults
on your room reservations for those night.)
They only need to be listed as staying at your resort on the exact day(s) of the EMH
in question (the next day will also be allowed, as guests "checking out" still get EMH on that "check-out" day.)
For PM EMH, even if they are not listed as staying at a WDW resort, they may STAY IN the PM EMH park during PM EMH.
(They will need to be inside the park before regular hours closing time.)
They can shop, dine, and freely walk around that park,
so they can be there with you those nights.
They just won't be able to enter any attractions if they don't have an on-site stay connected with their tickets.
