Buying tickets one at a time?

Is there a good place to get discounted tickets one at a time? I was thinking we would buy 1 ticket per month until we had them all. I guess you could call it a forced savings plan. Is there a way to do this or is it significantly cheaper to buy them all together?

Thanks for your help!

No answer for you, but I would be interested to know too. It might be a good way to budget.

I am doing Fl. PAP and since I have SEVERAL months until we go, buy them online from disneyworld.com one at a time, only way I can do it (money burns a hole in my pocket for other things).

I could do the Will call option but for $3.00 have them mailed to me.

Not sure if this helps, but all I can offer. You could check with a AAA office as well.

I have heard mention that some Disney stores still carry tickets, but I am not sure on that one.

mapleleaftickets.com is cheaper than disneyworld.com
they charge 4.95 to ship, plus tax is included in the price. I saved like $10 a ticket

First, sign up for the newsletter at www.mousesavers.com, every month they send out the newsletter with discounts for tickets.

They are the cheapest I have seen. They ship free also!

I just bought 2 tickets for next year. In a few months I will buy a few more and then they will be done!

I did this for our trip next week. I ordered 5 tickets several weeks apart through the mousesavers newsletter link for Ticketmania. They offer free shipping and I received each ticket within 7-10 days. Its a great way not to have to shell out so much $$$$ all at one time and I am the world's worst saver - this works for me :goodvibes

If you are purchasing MYW tickets, you might want to purchase ALL your tickets at the same time.

MYW tickets require biometric scans(?) of your fingers per ticket. Some people have reported that if you purchase all your tickets in a single "lot," you won't have to remember which person used which ticket. The machine remembers every one's finger scan as a group. Does this make sense?

This doesn't work if you purchase the tickets separately. Only one finger scan will be recorded for each single ticket so you have to remember who used which ticket.

This will be important if you have the no expiration option. If one member of the party doesn't use all the days on his ticket and doesn't make it on the next trip. Someone else who also went on the first trip can use his ticket next time because his finger scan is recorded in the group. If you purchase MYW tickets individually, only that person can use the ticket next time because only one finger scan is recorded.

I haven't tried this out myself but read it on this thread. Check it out:

The old park hopper passes do not use finger scans and can be used interchangably by different people.
