Buying tickets on disneyland.com

For those of you who have purchased your Disneyland tickets online do you recommend getting the Disney eTicket or paying the extra $5 to have the actual tickets mailed?

We aren't actually going until next year, but I wanted to go ahead and purchase the tickets now. I'm just not sure which option is best. Thanks!

We have bought the eticket in the past, and it is really easy. There really is no need to get an actual ticket. Just take the eticket to the turnstyle and they will scan it, and swap it out for an actual ticket. I also usually just email myself a copy of the eticket just in case we loose the paper copy. Then if needed, the eticket can be reprinted at the hotel.

Definitely prefer to get etickets and print them out at home. Tickets are valid through 12/31/2013, so getting them early is a good option.

Also, if you stay onsite, you can exchange the printouts for parkhoppers at the front desk when you check in. We did this in 2009 whan we were there.
