Buying the Poly 2/New resort question

I plan on buying the Poly tower when it goes on Sale in Spring 2024.
My question for those who have purchased a new resort before it is open is; if I have a February use year, will I receive 2024 points, or will the points start in 2025?
I'm assuming it will depend on when booking begins, so as long as it opens in 2024, I would receive the 2024 points, but I wanted to ask those with experience.

If it opens in 2024, all UYs should get the points for 2024 but I thought I remember that Feb UY started with 2020.

I can’t seem to find any reference to that though so that could be completely wrong.

With Riviera everybody got 2019 points except Feb UY.

No, PolyRob was correct. All Riviera purchasers get 2019 points unless they have a February use year. Feb use years begin with 2020 points. No one gets 2018 points.

For what it's worth, Disney's Riviera Resort started (contract) pre-sales to existing DVC Members on March 27, 2019 with the point chart released a couple days before that. General public sales started on April 15, and that resort opened on December 16, 2019.

Good luck! I have a feeling Poly2 is going to be irresistible. If the rooms are anything like the new VDH I won’t be able to pass it up. Great location too.
