I am curious if we can buy canned soda and bottled water from room service to take with us when we go on our excursions in Cozumel? I don't want to be thirsty and not be able to find something safe to drink. I was thinking of ordering these the night before our excursion or is there somewhere else onboard to buy canned drinks or bottled water??

Thanks

Last year when we were on the eastern they had bottled water available for purchase (with neat lanyards to hold them) right before you got off the ship. You can also purchase bottled water from any bar. Canned soda can be ordered from room service, I think it was like $6.00 for four cans or something like that, not unreasonable.

We did a 4 day in October and on our first night at dinner, the assistant server asked us if we wanted to buy a case of bottled water for the excursions and what ever else we needed it for. This was a great help - it wasn't cheap but it was convenient. He brought it rigt up to our room for us. Maybe this is a new thing that they do?

Larry,

How much was the case of bottled water? That would be great if they have it on our cruise.

Another good option is to refill your own empty water bottles as needed (for free) at the beverage station on deck 9. That water was great. You can also fill them with iced tea or lemonade.

I will have to check tonight at home - hopefully, we still have our stateroom receipt (I'm sure my DW put it somewhere). I'll reply tomorrow with how much it cost.

If you've got one, their perfect. I use mine all the time when hiking and skiing and on vacations like this. Pack it empty, and fill it before you head out. Much easier than bottles.

I was thinking of purchasing some beverages and snacks in Key West. I think there is a grocery store near/close to the docks and it would be a lot easier bringing it onboard then rather than Saturday at the port along with your carry-on bags.

That's a great idea about buying items in Key West. I am really glad you posted that!!
