Buying right away at BLT?

I think the higher they price, the smaller the add on points will be. In other words, someone planning to add 100 points at around $100, may drop down to 75 if it's $115 etc. I still think many want a piece of this no matter what the cost, but if they go too high-it will reduce the points sold.

CNN Money has an article today about airfares and that many airlines are going to cut back on the flights to Orlando. If that happens- ouch!!! Dues and buy in cost will be nothing compared to transportation cost. People are still getting fantastic airfares in spite of the fuel cost to the airlines, but that can't go on forever and if they cut flights, well Supply and demand will prevail.

Until oil comes down and stays down I don't know how well the BLT will sell.

A lot of references to the poor economy will slow sales but what about the effect of high euro and pounds last time we went to the world april 08 there was a lot of europeans and one of the biggest markets is England

As for dues per point. I read the paper work Disney submitted for the creation of Kingdom Towers Condo Association dated 1/10/08 and it stated :The estimated Annual Dues for the year January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 are $3.6709 per Vacation Point" I am sure Disney can modify this as needed but I think it should stay within this ballpark range.

When sales begin will all UYs go on sale the first day? This will be our first add-on.

I have the same question. We originally bought new at BCV and bought resale at BWV, and have been happy for five years. But with both BLT and GCV coming online relatively soon, I definitely anticipate the evil addonitis. But will I be able to get little add-ons in my UY? I know that direct from Disney, I have to keep the same UY, and I have no problem with that, as long as it's available. But I know it will be nearly impossible to get a 25 or 50 point contract resale on those anytime soon, and I'd never be able to justify a new master contract.

Anybody buy add-ons in a new resort? I know with the new master contracts, they seem to push certain UYs and sell out of others, but is that true of add-ons?
