Buying resale-which use year?

Hi y'all-we've finally decided to buy resale as first time DVC members. After doing much research on the boards, I still need some help on the values of different "use years". Is there a particular use year I should look for when I buy resale?

Is there a particular time of year you plan to travel? You usually want to pick a use year right before the time you usually travel so that if you need to cancel, you have more time to reuse or bank the points. For example, if you usually go in the summer, April or June would be good. If you usually go in June and have an August use year, you decide to cancel in April, you may be too late to bank all the points before their July 31 expiration. On the other hand, if you don't have a special time of the year, then it doesn't matter which use year.

I have a March use year and usually vacation in the summer. I have found the March use year to be very easy to manage.
