Buying resale question.

We have contacted an agent in a company we have not used before and the person is harder to reach and get information from than anyone we've used before. We have gotten one response. Are we obligated to stay with that person/company? Can another company get this property for us? I've read here that people have gone through other agencies when the listing is with a different agency. Is this ethical? Should we just be patient?

Some brokers share their listings, others don't. If you haven't signed an agreement to purchase from your existing broker, I would use a different one.

We haven't signed, but we are negotiating now...I jumped the gun.

Buying resale is definitely the way to go for what we're looking for.
