Buying Resale of the 14

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I didn't find it in my search (feel free to post link to another thread).

Am I understanding correctly that if I buy resale of any of the first 14 DVC resorts, that I can use the points for a reservation at any of those 14, but nothing else?

That is correct. You can still deposit and use with RCI. But, for DVC resorts, no use at RIV or future resorts.

More specifically - no use of them at RIV and most future resorts. A lot of people are looking at the VGF2 as future resort and as DVC said they are adding it to the existing association then the resale points should be good there also.
