Buying refillable mugs on ebay

Doris--The only possible reason someone would fill a bread bag is to use it as a soda water balloon. I'd say something not out of concern for Disney's profits but to possibly stop someone from throwing that at another guest (maybe even my family).

I agree about not policing in general. The current policy is free soda for all. No reason for us to get involved.

There are 6 mugs on Ebay right now from the Allstars (they do not look like the ones we got in Oct). He said they just got back so maybe they've changed! He also states in his auction that they can be used at ANY Disney hotel!!! Do they really think that???

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but the Fort Wilderness mugs CAN be used at the Wilderness Lodge and vice-versa.

No, actually, they filled it to drink from it. They were enjoying the frozen coke while we watched. The CM cleaning up, said nothing. What would be the point of my saying something? I have zero authority, and I don't care to end up getting my face punched in. I'm on vacation, I don't need a confrontation over soda that Disney appears to give away. Everyone talkes about the great /all seeing security at Disney..if they don't like bread bags being used, they can stop the guest. If they planned on throwing the bag at another guest, then I guess the other guest would have to say something...but that was not their intention...their intention was to get a drink.

From a financial point of view, buying a used mug from ebay would be a foolish choice. By the time you pay the shipping costs, you will have paid about the same price you'd have paid new at Disney.

And there's always the risk that they'd have changed the design just before you arrived -- and you'd have absolutely no recourse!

If you really want to save money on sodas, pick up some $2.50 twelve-packs at the grocery store before you leave. That's considerably less expensive than the Disney mugs anyway.

But in the auction you get TWO (2) mugs. So it is still cheaper.

Ok, my secret will be revealed. For smaller chested women or men who are not afraid to dress in drag and wear a wig for free soda, get two EQUAL SIZED bags, and place them in the chest area. Casually walk up to the soda machine and fill them. You will walk away drawing seductive looks from the guys and jealous glares from the women when they see your DDD equivalent. Best of all, no cast member will ask to check them for fear of a sexual harassment suit. Please though, for fear of bringing up the controversial breast feeding in public debate, do not drink from or have your family (especially grown children) the bags until you have removed them from the chest area.

A few weeks ago on tech tv they were showing breast implants someone made to hold alcoholic beverages at Florida college football games. These actually fit into ones bra and you sipped threw a straw. Not sure what you do once you drank it all and your bra is too big. Perhaps you dont care after drinking all that alcohol. BTW, they also make one for men to wear in there pants.

I'm sure that the majority of the folks selling the mugs on ebay are members of this community and I'm sure they all aren't doing perverted things in their mugs like everyone seems to keep suggesting!

How do all the germ freaks buy ANYTHING on ebay at all regardless of what it is? Afterall...someone could've have done something "perverted" to a book, a blanket, an article of clothing, etc....
