:teeth:

Some of you guess are making LOL. And thanks for that visual Robin! That's GREAT! :) ::yes::

Robin..it could have only been better, if it had the sticker on it saying how long it was good for LOL!

In this case, I'd say that one was prob the first one Disney ever sold : )

Great Visual!

I have to admit, these threads always get a chuckle out of me..especially the could care less..for a different reason. We must all care, otherwise who the heck would post LOL..it would be a lonely thread??
I guess we go to Disney too darn often. 4 times a year, the mugs would add up (we wait for ap rates, sales on the airline, etc)..and heck I'm not afraid to admit it..I care..I'm happy when I'm told I can continue to reuse my mug at Disney!!

Beth! I love the song, and it is going 'round and 'round my head.

I want one of those Pop Century refillable mugs. It's so purrrrrty.

Doris. . .What do you MEAN? You're going to obey the manager and NOT all these DIS people-who, we know are right (and we've seen the pics to prove that they are).

My kinda thread. It makes my day a happy one. . . now. . .on to the 3 year old thread. Is there a pool-hopping one around??

Well, as a concession, since I wasn't told I could re-use my POP mug (and that one does say use this visit only), that one I'll leave home next time LOL. I'll have to stay at POR or All Stars next time, just so's I can re-use my mug : )

I always think that we are so big in number's on this board..then I get to Disney, and most of the Dis workers haven't even heard of us..that's when I get my wake up call..and realize, I'm only accountable to Disney staff : )

It may still be OK as long as you only use your older mugs at the fountain, then carry them back to the table and pour the pop into the newer POP mugs. ;) ;)

Although I've heard the cm's tell people they can use them at any resort, I haven't personally been told that, so while we do bring back our mugs (that part was told directly to me, and we ask each time to be sure they are still allowing it at the resort we are currently staying at), we only use them at the resort they were meant for.

Mugs, microwaves, grills, strollers, pool hopping, use of shared discount codes, this is what entertainment is about.

strollers,

Has someone figured out a way to take one home from the park to use the next day? I've never thought of strollers as being controversal LOL.
Or do they use a stroller while watching fireworks from the Poly beach, while staying at the all stars?

LOL Strollers......:p :p

Thats the best one yet....

Very nice....

As far as stealing drinks, if you buy them from Ebay you are not buying them from Disney and are therefore a thief.

ROFL!!

Keep it coming guys! This is sooooo much fun!

I have skipped from page one to 7, so I may be repeating what has already been said. It cost disney everytime we refill mugs. At some restaurants, wait staff has to feel them for us. If each mug sold is used by different guest, Disney might raise the original price ar just discontinue the refill program.

After years of trips to Disney, cups and popcorn containers are the main souveniors I alway take home. The popcorn containers look nice in my cabenets filled with egg noodles, or used for popcorn. The cups remind me of Disney when I am not there.

NOW THAT'S THE BEST REPLY YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why bother buying a mug?
We just got back from Pop Century last night. Several times I heard people ask for a cup, and they were given a child size cup for free by the cashier.
Late Wednesday night, I made a beer run to the food court. The woman in front of me asked for, and was given a cup. She paid, then asked why she had been given a "small" cup.
Cashier:" Because I didn't charge you for it."
Woman: "Well, I was just wondering. I just brought my son through here, and you gave him a *big* cup."

The cashier and I just looked at each other in absolute awe of this woman's nerve. She's still standing there, as if she didn't have a clue why this situation was so strange. Then, the cashier just took the small cup back, and put a large cup on her tray without saying a word.
I should have asked if I could have my beer for free too, but that probably would have been pushing it a bit. :teeth:

I almost made it through this post without posting but I just can not let it die. :p

Dandave? Did you compare the price of beer in the food court with beer in the gift shop? I know at ASMV the beer was much, much cheaper in the gift shop.

Hi CajunDixie! I always buy beer and milk in the resort gift shop as well, but I could find neither at the PC gift shop.
I know that I've been able to buy a six pack of Beck's dark at the WL gift shop and at a BW gift shop for under $10 in the past. That's a great deal, for WDW.
AT PC, I could only find beer and milk in the food court cooler. I paid $2.99 for a 1/2 gallon of milk and around $9.50 for a six pack of Bud light. :scared1: I didn't ask any CMs, but I looked around pretty good.

I am not sure about the particular thread this person was referring to, but I know that there is often a hot discussion about people who use strollers as battering rams to push their way through the crowds.

No, the primary purpose of a stroller is to carry your backpack, video camera, cooler and a change of clothing.

Now if you're looking for a battering ram, rent an ECV and drive it thru a crowd while going in reverse.
