Buying Passes or Annual Passes before you go

In the past, I have purchased Annual Passes and understand that they start the first day that you check in and use them..

But, if I were to buy the regular park hopper passes (9 day park hopper to be exact) through Disney online, do they work the same way and they don't start your days until your first day that you use them??

We are going in June and I plan to book a room only soon but want to purchase the tickets as I save up for them..

Yes, same as AP, they start the day they are first used and if you don't purchase "no expiration" will expire 14 days after first use.

Thanks..I do not plan to buy the "No expiration ticket" ..we will use all the days.. Thanks again..that is a big help in the decision makin!
