Buying Park Passes

Quick question. I know when you buy a park pass, lets just say a 5 day pass and it expires 14 days after the first day you use it for unused days, My question is if I buy a 5 day park pass this week with no plans in the near future to go to Disney Is there an expiration date on the pass and if so when would it expire if I never used the first day??

Standard , unused WDW tickets do not expire. Some people "stock up" years worth of tickets.
(There are some convention or special use tickets with expiration)
