Buying one-time pts through DVC

To make sure I understand this new procedure, could someone verify my understanding of it?

Let's say that I will have 13 "banked" points left at one of my resorts (they are not bankable again so I must use them this use year). I will also have 1 pt at another resort (in this use year). The one night I need to add will take 40 points.

At this point, I do have 2010 points (86) at the resort that I want to add the night --but I would really prefer to bank the 86 2010 points and use just the 13 that will expire.

Will MS allow me to combine the 13 and the 1 pt(from a different resort), giving me 14, leaving 26 to purchase? I am assuming that they would require me to bank the remainder points into 2011 year first?

You can only purchase a maximum of 24 one-time use points., so you'll need to use 2 of you 2010 ponts for that resort.

Thanks I knew that but failed to post that I would also use 2 points from yet a third resort and purchase just the 24 and still try to bank the 86 current year points. (So I would be using the 13 banked points, 1 from a second resort and 2 from a third resort, plus purchasing 24) I figured that I need exactly the 86 for an 2011 reservation in December, so I am trying to hang on to those points so I can book at the 11 month window.
