Buying one day tickets

We are going for just one day on Jan.2. DH and I have APs but our boys will need tickets. Is the ticket booth the only place to buy one day tickets? We are not Southern Cal. residents so we can't use any S.CA deals, but just wondering if we can avoid the ticket booth line in the morning.

When we went with DHs mom, we printed it online and then just took that to the gate. It worked fine. The only problem is that the disney site tends to be buggy (at least for us, anyone else have that problem?) so it took a long time for the transaction to go through but besides that there were no problems. I think if you're only buying for one park then you have to get it at the ticket booths but i'm assuming you guys are doing park hoppers?

Another vote for buying online and printing them at home. We have APs but did this last week for my Mom and Sis. It was a piece of cake. I just suggest printing out a couple of copies in case you need them. We just exchanged them at the gate for a paper ticket. Anything you can do to avoid an extra line at DLR this time of year is a plus!

The family is doing a quick visit to DL on 12/21 and looking to save time when we arrive by buying tickets in advance. Looks like I can't buy a 1 day, non-hopper online. I thought I read somewhere that you could buy tickets in advance at a Disney store. Is this true?

Yeah, and you could even wait and order/print them at our house when you come down if you want.

714-781-4400 One can call this Disney phone number for ordering a one day non parkhopper ticket, or at the ticket booth. The best that I can tell, the Disney Stores only sell multi-day tickets. You might find a possible discount via mousesavers.com ticket information:
