Hello,

In 2012 I called Florida and bought our tickets from there. In 2013 I noticed
it said you could buy on line. What do you do? I am planning on Oct 31, so I know I have to be fast at buying.

Thanks for the help.

Beth

Make that times 3!! Read online that it's usually 1st May thy go on sale.

We have picked our day for MNSSHP , (Sun 19th Oct) easy to check as MK closes at 7pm when MNSSHP is on but you both probably know that.

What are the rough prices for MNSSHP and whats your thoughts on "fancy dress" to do or not to do?

Our DD who will be 7 is going as "Elsa" the latest thing in "vogue" Belle has been bumped to the back burner :lmao:, but me and mrs badger and our son who is 16 are pondering to fancy dress or not to fancy dress,:sad2: that is another question!

Past years bought online but this year I will probably buy them while we are out there in July.
We want a date in Sept so no rush to buy.

Hi,

I am also waiting (impatiently!) for the 2014 Halloween tickets to go on sale.

There does seem to be a way to book tickets online - while in your MDE account, go to Cart > Add Tickets > Special Event Tickets, here's the link:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/events/

Hope this helps :thumbsup2

Thank you for the link. Do you think I will have to get up at 5:00 am like with the FP+ reservations?

Dress up! It is so much fun, everyone one joins in. Some people go really all out and others just a Halloween shirt or cap. Cast members are really great too at the party.

I originally wasn't going to bother with fancy dress, def do not think my DBF will want to take part! :rotfl: BUT....the idea has def grown on me, and I have been looking around on places like eBay for possible, low price options. Grass skirts & Hawaiian shirts, butterfly wings and one of those headband bobble things....

Thank you for the link. Do you think I will have to get up at 5:00 am like with the FP+ reservations?

:scared1: 5am! I hope not. I am thinking the chances of tickets being taken as quickly as FP+ reservations is unlikely.

I didn't get up at 5am for FP plus reservations and got everything I wanted. I have also changed them many, many times since and had no bother. I am booking the obvious headliners too. Are other people struggling?????

I am not that bothered about making any FP reservations for our July trip, last thing I will be doing is getting up at 5am to make them :rotfl2:

The only one I was REALLY bothered about was Anna and Elsa. My daughter would have queued for as long as it took so I'm pleased not to have to be doing that. Other than that If you don't know your way around decent touring plans I think they could keep you in queues longer, due to the impact on other ride times if you don't choose wisely. I've had to spend hours working out how to get the best out of them and we are seasoned, touring plan, park stormers.

I am really happy to see that you did not have to get up then. Perhaps I am letting just one or two post get me too frighted.

Last week this is what I said, then I started to second guess myself.

I have been spending hours on it too, we were so use to ...um... efficient touring. It is the ONLY time everyone listens to me and follows everything I say.:rotfl2:
Just really don't want that not to happen, I like it.

we last went to MNSSHP in 2006, we bought when we arrived a few days before the event from guest services (still classed as pre-purchase price). We wanted to check the weather forecast was dry for that night, don't fancy the party in the rain! :goodvibes

As for dressing up we will be as most do :)

Yes, no rain would be better. Won't want our treats to get soggy.:)

whats the anna & elsa thing you mention?

Ok, deep breath.

MNSSHP tickets do sell out fast on the 31st but it is only relative to the other party nights.

Unless something has drastically changed in the last couple of years, you do not have to get up at 5am for them and you do not have to panic buy them. They won't sell out in hours or even days :)

Thanks I had not thought of it that way.:) With no November party I thought the 31st would be even more of a "hot ticket".

The lack of a November party will probably have an impact and it seems each year more and more parties in general do sell out by the night than they used to but I still don't think it's going to be like the proverbial Running of the Bulls ;)

It'll be popular and will sell out but pretty sure the parties are supposed to hold 40k people or something like that, you'll have some wiggle room to book :)

They are the two sisters from Frozen. My DD has now watched the DVD about 126 times!!!!! They are shortly moving their character meet and greet from Epcot (major lines, horrendous), to Magic Kingdom where they can be seen using a Fast pass plus. Result as far as I am concerned.

Glad we are not there at the same time as our God Daughter this year. She was here yesterday singing "Do you wanna build a snowman?":rotfl2:

I can't think of anything I really want a FP for, we will be in parks for opening, any line too long we won't do it, I will have a look when our FP window opens but I can see me getting a few then not using them, plans change too much for us.

I knew who they were, my DD is obsessed with "frozen" just now, and very much in the same boat as your DD! Thankfully it's a good movie with good songs, my personal fav is Olaf's "In Summer"

After my post I went on the MDE site and seen they were at "Epcot" in Norway so makes sense to move it to a larger area, bonus is that it could free up other "princesses" i.e belle.

Agree with the FP+ a definite must do on 60 days out! :thumbsup2
