Buying MNNSHP from MS..small problems..

I purchased two tickets to MNNSHP through MS on Wednesday. The CM told me that the tickets with the discount for DVC members were already all sold for that date and I would still get the tickets just for a higher price. I bought this argument and then that night I jumped on the DIS and didn't see any restrictions like that. So, I called back and was told that was incorrect and after two phone calls, I was helped by Wendy (great CM) who got the situation corrected and gave me my will call number.

Okay, it was only 8.32! But I wanted to give all the DVC disers a heads up if you hear something like this. Save yourself a headache and just say no thanks, call back and get a CM in the know!!

We have three MNSSHPs booked for the 27th, 30th, and 31st. Just my luck those are the three black out dates for the discount.

Wow, that's a lot of Halloween partying!! We're going on October 12th and I was told there's no AP or DVC discount for that date either.

I urge everyone to check the dates on the back of the tickets. I ordered tickets for October 30, assumed that's what I received.

Then about two or three weeks later, I was peeling them off the paper they were stuck on, and discovered they were for October 31. I called and they sent out the correct tickets and asked me to send back the incorrect ones. I was glad that I thought to check the date on the back of the tickets. Some little voice in the back of my head told me to and I'm glad I listened.

That's not a problem if you buy the tickets with a DVC discount. The DVC tickets are available as 'Will Call' only, since they have to check your id before they give you the tickets. Surprising, since the tickets are already paid for and they had to be purchased through MS. All I have are confirmation numbers, they wouldn't send out the tickets because I bought them with the DVC discount.

Hi, I just wanted you to know, I purchased the tickets in May with the DVC discount for Oct 17th, over the phone they said I wouldnt get the tickets in the mail they would be "will call" then surprising to me I recieved the tickets in the mail a week later, Last year they were the exact same tickets except the 2006 ones were cheaper, So im assuming she made a mistake, because over the phone I was told they would be on will call.... But Im very happy to have them! Good Luck & have fun. Dawn

I ordered my DVC tickets via the DVC website and had no problem. I'm doing will call as I've done in the past. There are only a handful of discounted nights. I'm going 10/24, which is the last discounted night for DVC members and AP holders.
