buying hidden mickey pins?

hello all
I was just wondering if anyone else knew about buying hidden mickey pins now? My friend is currently in wdw and when she called me for a pin run through for which ones I wanted her to pick up for me she said something about mystery sets of hidden mickey pins. Anyone aware of when this started? I don't remember seeing them for sale before I thought they were always tradeable from Cast Members?

They do occasionally have HM pins in mystery pouches. I don't know what they have at WDW but currently at DL you can buy the Jan/Feb sets in mystery pouches. We traded for ours so we are good but yes, they do have them sometimes. Not all the time, just sometimes.

ohh ok so it's not a constant thing? ok. thanks I was hoping it wasn't a new thing they were starting that kind of takes away from the fun of finding them yourself

When we went in December last year they were selling a few sets, if you go to pinpics.com you can search and after the sets they have a pic of the whole collection. I think with these ones you don't know what you are getting (2 for $10) so you may get doubles.

They are good value though and you get to choose with set you buy (different coloured packets) it's just luck as to what you get tho.

We just got back, while there DL/DCA had many different mystery pouches!! We were able to purchase enough of the teacup pins that we got 2 full sets and traded many others for other good pins we needed for set completion.
