Hi there! Our trip is finally down to 30!!!! days. I can't believe it. I had read somewhere that some people have ordered their groceries from netgrocer.com and have had them delivered to the resort for their arrival date. Has anyone tried this? Just wondering how it all went...good or bad experience. Sounds so simple. I've been to the site and it looks comprehensive. We only need snacks, water & breakfast stuff. We don't have a kitchen at the resort. But I was thinking rather than pick it all up, it would be nice to have it delivered. Any comments?

I used netgrocer twice. I first time everything was perfect - got just what I ordered, delivered on time, well packaged, etc. The second time my order was refused because they wanted an American credit card. I don't know if they changed their policy or what??? You're right, it was convenient to have stuff, especially heavy stuff like water, delivered.

You could order online through Goodings supermarket but it's more expensive. There's also a company called wegoshop (I think that's the name of it) that will do your shopping for you and deliver it to the hotel. For our last trip we booked a towncar that offered a grocery stop, and that worked out perfectly for us.

Have a great trip!

We did not order online but had our Car Service stop at the supermarket on the way to the resort. The service we used , Happy Limo, offered a complementary stop. A little bit of time but it was cheaper than the stores close to WDW.

We did this for 2 trips, it worked great.

I had our towncar driver make a grocery stop as well ... I would have liked to order online to save time but Netgrocer requires an American credit card. Maybe if you know someone who lives in the US, they can help you to place an order. I thought about going through Goodings and Wegoshop but I think they have minimum orders and delivery charges.

I've decided to go with wegoshop. I never heard of them until now. Read about them on the budget board. I've already put in my order with them altho we're still a month away :flower1: . Hard to contain the excitement! I chose wegoshop because of the comments and also because we wanted fresh fruit etc which I couldn't get thru netgrocer. Even put in my order for a bottle of wine and some beer! You can order whatever you want. For grocery orders between 100 - $200., the cost for delivery to disney resort is $25.00 which is well worth it to me. The one drawback is that we have to be there to receive the order, but it sounds like highly personalized service and hopefully they will be able to honor the timings set out, so we're not sitting around waiting. We also have the option of one stop thru the FL Tours but I chose this way instead as we are going for the first 2 days to AKL concierge :Pinkbounc, so do not anticipate needing groceries. After that, we'll be at Riverside for 7 nites. 29 days and counting... I'll let you all know how it goes.
