Can you purchase the express booklets in advance? I will be at Universal for one day and would like to take advantage. Where do you buy them? I could not locate it on their website.

Thanks!!

nicktime, I had a heck of a time finding it too. I went to http://www.universalstudiosvacations.com/ and then in the blue box on the right click on "tickets only" and then plug in the dates you are looking for. The next screen is not it but if you click on "go", you will get a box with all the prices for that particular day.

Now, for more questions about the express pass. Is this one plastic card pass or a booklet of paper passes for each ride or what? Does everyone in your party need their own pass? My dh is not much of a ride person so not sure it's worth it for him but if there are paper passes then we could just share one booklet?? We're going to both parks but only want to spend the extra on one day so which express pass would be better to buy - USO or IoA?

Thank you so much for the information!! I think these are actual booklets with coupons. You tear one out and hand it to the attendant.

One card that they scan at each ride. You would each need a card if you both want to ride the same ride. Each card is good for one ride at each express attraction.

You would have to decide which park you want to ride more at, I don't think there is a "better" park to get the express pass for.

Yes, they are tickets just like your admission ticket. On the back it says Express Plus with the park name & date as they are date and park specific.
