Buying DVC from Disney

Does Disney let you pay for the whole thing with your Disney VISA? We received our paperwork today and it says "check".....

Does anyone know if VISA is an option? We're going to pay it right off, but I'd really like to earn the disney reward points.

I don't know about master contracts, but we've paid for add-ons with Credit Cards. Call your guide and see.

Our guide said we could pay with a credit card or personal check.

We just purchased a 100 point add-on on Tuesday and we paid for the entire thing using our Disney Visa.

We're purchasing 175 points at AKV on a "cash contract" (not financing through disney). Our agent said based on a cash contract, we could put up to $2500 on our Disney Visa interest free for 6 months. As far as the entire contract goes, he recommended putting it all on the Disney Visa to get the points. He even said I could spread it out and just tell him which days to charge the card and how much to put on it each time so that I could take advantage of the points.

If your credit line allows, I was told you could use Disney Visa for the entire balance!

Why not get the Reward Points if your credit line can allow for a large transaction! In my mind, additional savings doing it that way...

On a transaction of $18-20,000, that is 180-200 Disney Reward Dollars!
