Buying DL tickets

DH and I are going to DL in August and wanted to purchase tickets. We called AAA and they do not sell them. Any ideas of where we can purchase tickets other than at the gate? We would like to buy them in advance if possible in case the prices go up. Does anyone know of any discounts for DL tickets? We have heard of some local discounts but we live in NJ. Thanks

Trying contacting a Northern California AAA office. They do sell them there.

Try look at ARES Travel website. Since they buy in bulk, they usually have very good rates for the tickets, esp. 3 days or longer.

There is a web site out there..I think it is the Anaheim Tourist Bureau that has a Southern Cal fun ticket...you get a three day ticket to DL, a day at Sea World in San Diego...a Day at San Diego Zoo...a Day at Knotts Berry Farm...all for the cost of three days at DL...right now the tickets have to be used by 3/31/05...I am going in June..so I hope they will renew the offer...

I have a number for an AAA agent MaryLee in Ohio. From what my friend says she's the DL expert. This year I think the AAA benefit is priority seating at some of the shows and an early entrance. This is the deal with any company that goes through Disney Travel. Mary Jo on this board also can get you these same tickets. She works for the company that sponsers this board. Had I known all this before I bought my tickets I would have bought them from her. Anyway, if you need MaryLee's number PM me. I'll go dig it up. Otherwise to find MaryJo do a search....or maybe she'll post here.

I think ARES was also the same price but maybe without some of the benefits. Not sure.

We bought ours on line at the Disney website - some of the deals on there now are superb. Depending on when you travel you can get free days or adults at kids prices. You can have the tickets mailed to you, or pick them up at the gate.
