I know that there is a fair amount of risk involved with purchasing tickets from Ebay and esp. Craigslist. But I would like to hear from people who have purchased tickets from either places. We plan on going during Springbreak and will only be going to DL for one day. I am trying to go for as cheap as possible and I know that risks probably outweighs the savings but I am curious about others experiences.

And does anyone know how a person would acquire lots of one day hopper passes only to sell them on these places for pretty cheap? Such as.. do employees get so many passes to give to friends and family and so they sell them online?

CMs do get a number of free passes throughout the year. They also can be fired for selling them online. It is actually illegal to transfer ownership of a multi day ticket from one person to another.

The biggest scams are the multiday tickets. The buyer has no immediate way of telling how many days are on the ticket (unless the seller makes the ticket number available to them to call a special number to find out how many days are left on it). It's more common for folks to do this scam for WDW, but it happens for DL tickets, too.

You have no guarantee that a 1 day ticket hasn't been used already and do you really want to show up at the turnstile and be turned away to purchase another one? That could really ruin your vacation....

I would not try Craigslist either! There have been alot of scams, even including death recently.

Please buy your tickets from a reputable place. Disneyland.com, and AAA.
