Hello all,

We are considering buying the delux dining plan for one day for all our guest that come to our wedding. Will Disney allow us to buy only one day for everybody? We would hope to use one credit at a rehersal dinner and have the remaining credits for our guest to use as they like. Possible? What do you think?

Hi sweetie - Unfortunately, the DDP has to be purchased for every guest in a room for the entire stay. They will not allow it to be purchased for one day/night only unless your guests' stay is only one night long.

The only way around that would be to book seperate stays. For example if guest are staying Monday through Friday and you want to buy them one day of dining for Monday you'd have to make one reservation for Monday night, then they'd have to book a seperate reservation for Tuesday-Friday night. They'd actually have to check in twice. Also, if I recall correctly, when you book dining you either have to be a passholder and book ticketless dining or you have to purchase tickets to make it a complete package. So dining could get really pricey. You're better off having a dinner somewhere and paying the bill and paying for their meals that way. OR you could give them Disney dollars to use towards anything they want to buy (food, snacks, merchandise).
