Is there anywhere we can buy official Disney autographs books before we go? Thanks!:D

We got ours at the Disney Store at a mall near Pittsburgh.

I know they sell them at the Orlando airport also and even at the resort gift shops. (Not exactly "before" you go, but perhaps before you go to the parks.) Hope this helps!!

You can order them online at Mainstreetmegastore.com (look under "park exclusive books") for $12.00+s&h or at Giftsofalifetime.com (click on the bar that says "Personal Disney Shopper") for $7.50+s&h. I think they are only $5.00 at the parks, so it may or may not be worth it to you to spend the extra money to get them early. Hope this helps!

I got a couple of brand new autograph books on ebay. I just did a search for you and there doesn't appear to be any for sale. I remember I looked into giftsofalifetime and their shipping charges were ridiculous, Keep checking ebay. I think the sellers name was mickeystuff if I remember correctly.

Based on some great info that I got from these threads, I did something very different than the regular Disney autograph books. I went to Michaels Arts & Crafts store and bought 2 hard cover, 3 ring binders on clearance. It measured about 8 x 9. Then I bought a package of 8 1/2 x 11 card stock paper and cut that in half. I punched holes on each page and put on those little round hole re-inforcers. My kids decorated each page with stickers and designs that they colored. They even made pages especially for their favorite characters to sign. When the characters saw they had a special page, they made a big deal out of it. My daughter was thrilled. When we came home, I added some photo pages that you can buy as fillers and the kids placed their pictures, as well as park guides, resort map, room key and any other souvenier that they thought "special". It's nice having it all in one place and cute to look back through what was special to them at that time.

The books were big enough to be easily found in a backpack and we tied the fat pen right onto one of the rings so we never had to search for them when we saw a character.

What a great idea!! Did you find them to be cumbersome?

I love the idea that each child personalized their own book!!

Happened to look into this for my sister. It is better to wait and buy them at the parks. Same price and they are ubiquitous.:)

I normally bring a backpack into the park with just a few things inside, so I didn't mind carrying their autograph books. They're about the same size as a hardcover book, but don't weigh nearly as much. I wouldn't describe them as cumbersome, but they did take up space in my backpack.

My youngest was almost 6 when we did her's , so her pages are mostly stickers or clip art that we found on the web and printed onto clear labels. My son was 12 and his is mainly hand drawn. We gave them each their own disposable cameras and let them take pictures of what ever they wanted. The youngest took a lot of family pictures and they came out surprisingly good. Her souveniers are park maps and I think every piece of paper from our room at the Grand Floridian. My son did mostly scenery and a lot in the Animal Kingdom park. His souveniers are mainly from the world showcase in Epcot. It will be interesting to see what they pick up this time around.
