Originally I was planning to buy at the BCV but wanted to know that if I also bought at OKW if I was considered an owner at both resorts or if one took precedence. I want to take advantage of the 11 month window at both but don't know if this is possible. I was then going to use the points from each to apply to a vacation at one. Can you get the 11 month window at both and can you then apply the points from both to one location.

I have read that a lot of DVC owners seem to have multiple resort ownership.

You only have the 11 month advantage at a resort with points from that resort. The points could be current, banked or borrowed.

Corpcomp, it's easy to own at two or more resorts. It simplifies things greatly if you have the same use year. You are allowed the 11 month window at each resort ONLY for the points you have at that resort. If you own 100 points at each, you can ONLY make a 100 point reservation at the 11 month window. So, in your case, at 11 months you could make a BCV reservatino for 100 points and an OKW reservation for 100 points. Sorry to say, you can't combine the 200 points at 11 months. At 7 months, though, you can use all 200 points at either resort, or any other for that matter.

Have fun!!

I would agree with the posters above. I have the same use year on both my BCV and OKW contracts. I make ressies one year, 11 months out on BVC for 13 days, and then try to change and get 3 or 4 day 7 month out at VWL. If I can't I still always have my BCV for the entire stay. Will try do do the same thing the next year but at OKW. The tricky thing there is that OKW points are cheaper than VWL, so if you plan to make them 11 months out then you need to have extra to add the difference to VWL at 7 months. I haven't had a problem so far getting ressies, and actually getting pretty much what I wanted.

I own at 2 resorts. I have 200 points at HH and 130 points at SSR. To book at the 11 month window you have to use the points you have for that resort.
I also have the same use year on both which makes it nice.

One option to increase your points is to borrow from the next year. If you have 100 points at BCV and 100 points at OKW, you could borrow 100 from the next year at the resort you want to have 200 points available at 11 months. Keep in mind borrowed points cannot be returned to their use year and will expire at the end of the use year if the reservation is cancelled.

Right now i have 200 BWV points, that's working out good for us. If I add on it will be a different resort maybe OKW we like to stay there.
