Hi we are going to WDW next month  (i've been dying to say that;))
My parents are coming for their first visit & my dad asked me if he could buy a bottle of Jack Daniels or wine to have a drink in his room (i keep telling him he wont have time for that!!!) We are staying at ASMo's & i wasnt sure if he could buy a bottle anywhere!!!
Can anyone help???
Thanks :)

There is always time for a drink surely!

Nots sure about ASMo, but all of the resorts I've stayed at have gift shops and they have a small selection of drinks available to buy, pretty sure that the have JD, but if not I know that they have Seagrams which is also nice IMHO.

Otherwise, just go down to the 192 one day and pop into a liquor store, there are loads of them, normally one with each supermarket (as supermarkets don't sell spirits).

Theres also a liquor store at crossroads which definately sells JD. If not you can usually buy them on the flight at reasonable prices.

Also in regards to the wine i found some really good deals in some of the world showcase countries at Epcot - depending on what you like!

The ABC liquor stores sell JD but be sure to check out the other Bourbons on offer :thumbsup2

DH is a big JD fan but we've tried loads of good, reasonably priced, whiskeys on our travels :sunny:

If you got a car dont buy at your resort, Disney only sell half bottles and they cost more than a full bottle off site, theres loads of liquor stores around on the 192 and I drive, just make sure you dont open it in the car - not that your that desperate to have a drink im sure! :cool1:

Its really expensive at the resorts! I bought a bottle of vodka in duty free last year that was on special offer and I ended up drinking it in our room! It was actually really nice to wind down sometimes with a drink at the end of the day.

I had bottles of Baileys from my flight that I kept in the room, there were a few nice wines available in the ASMo though, but they were quite expensive.
