Buying a house...what a roller coaster!

We are buying a house, inspection was today, everything seems to be going okay. But I am so scared half the time! The other half I am excited! Either way, I feel like I'm gonna blow!!! I was really testy with the kids at school today, too, I'm sure in part due to the stress of this...I felt bad for them...it's good stress, but still stress. Have you all gone through similar feelings when buying a house? Oh, it's my first house, in case you couldn't tell!

Hopefully I can channel this stress into packing and cleaning...we have 30 days from today to get out of our current apt.!

I feel your pain. Just went through this in May.

Just think, soon it will all be over and you can start the decorating roller coaster of emotion.

Been there! But what's worse is when you're selling your home. When you actually have a signed contract and it's "sold," but you haven't bought a place yet!

Yes we went thru this when buying, but selling I think is worse. We are in the process of selling our home now & moving to SC.

One minute I am so sad - love my neighbors, house, schools, and all of our family is here. The next minute I am excited - will be in a brand new house, the house will be paid for - no mortgage, I will be able to not work, nicer weather, and still not to far from NJ.

Plus we will have to rent until our house is being built.
