I think so too. What is disturbing is if one or two owners sell low for a quick sale and then buyers see it on the list, they expect the same low price. Race to the bottom...
The other thing you can do is consider it a deal with no 2010 points. Then, if you close by early Sept, even if the points are not banked, you could rent them out as distressed points. You might not get $10/pt for them but you'd recoup a bit of cash ... or you could take a last minute-weekend yourself!
